Fuji, and the townscape below in one breathtaking view. Photographers and travelers from around the world gather here for this unforgettable scenery. ★ Lake Yamanaka — Swan Cruise or Hot Spring Experience (Approx. 70 minutes)

(Cruise or hot spring fees are not included.)

Lake Yamanaka is the only lake among the Fuji Five Lakes with a natural river outlet. It is also the largest and shallowest lake, with a depth of only 13.3 meters. Mt. Fuji viewed from Lake Yamanaka features a long, elegant mountain ridge that creates a uniquely beautiful silhouette.

Swans are called “Hakucho” in Japanese, and every year from February to April, wild swans migrate here to lay eggs and raise their young. Since visitors often feed them, the swans sometimes approach tourists closely, earning Lake Yamanaka the nickname “Lake of Swans.” On June 22, 2013, the lake was registered as part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site “Fujisan – Object of Worship and Source of Art.”

★ Lake Yamanaka Sightseeing Boat “Swan Lake”

The sightseeing cruise takes approximately 25 minutes around the lake, allowing guests to enjoy the relaxing scenery of Lake Yamanaka and the magnificent beauty of Mt. Fuji.

Designed in the shape of an elegant swan, the boat was created by renowned Japanese designer Eiji Mitooka and has won multiple design awards. The interior uses oak wood and features soft curves and warm textures, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

For children, the boat includes special seats, telescopes, and captain-experience steering wheels, making the cruise fun for families as well. Visitors may also enjoy feeding wild swans during the cruise. Swan food can be purchased onboard for 100 JPY per bag.

★ Optional Hot Spring Experience

Guests choosing the hot spring option will receive round-trip transportation on the same bus. However, hot spring admission and related fees are not included.
