10:00 AM – Arakura Sengen Shrine & Sengen Park

Embark on the Path of Fuji’s Faith at Shinkurayama Asama Park—a renowned photography hotspot where the panoramic splendor of Mt. Fuji unfolds before your eyes. Celebrated as one of the “21 Must-Visit Places for Photographers Worldwide,” this destination attracts travelers and artists alike.

Climb the 398 steps near the main shrine to capture an iconic view combining Mt. Fuji and the charming townscape below. The scenery changes beautifully with the seasons, from cherry blossoms in spring to snow-covered landscapes in winter. Beyond Mt. Fuji, enjoy views of Fujiyoshida City, reflecting the enduring spirit of this sacred land.

11:10 AM – Hikawa Clock Shop

Step away from the busy city and enter Fuji’s “Sky Ladder Town.” The quiet street leading toward Mt. Fuji resembles a ladder stretching into the clouds, creating a dreamlike perspective where the mountain feels close yet unreachable.

Stroll through traditional Japanese streetscapes and experience the nostalgic atmosphere of post–Meiji Restoration Japan, a reminder of a time when local commerce thrived.

12:30 PM – Oshino Hakkai

Oshino Hakkai is a group of eight natural spring ponds located in Oshino Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. The crystal-clear water originates from melted snow of Mt. Fuji, filtered through volcanic rock layers.

Designated as a National Natural Monument, Oshino Hakkai is listed among Japan’s 100 Famous Waters and New 100 Views of Mt. Fuji. In 2013, it was registered as part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “Fujisan – Sacred Place and Source of Artistic Inspiration.”

Oishi Park is located on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi and is home to the Kawaguchiko Natural Life Museum. Together with Yagizaki Park on the southern shore, it forms the well-known Lavender Park area.

As a main venue for the Kawaguchiko Festival, the park reflects the spiritual devotion of pilgrims journeying toward Mt. Fuji. Inside the park stands the Mt. Fuji Assembly Memorial Monument, a large-scale Mt. Fuji replica built from 252 stones collected nationwide—each stone affectionately named after its place of origin.

3:10 PM – Lawson Convenience Store (Mt. Fuji View Spot)

Near Lake Kawaguchi, a Lawson convenience store has become an unexpected yet iconic photo spot. Pause here to enjoy the striking contrast between modern daily life and the timeless beauty of Mt. Fuji, where contemporary architecture meets sacred nature.
